Stabilization of ceasefire in Tripoli continues

The Dialogue Committee on conflict resolution and reconciliation decided at its meeting in Tripoli, to continue to consolidate the cease-fire in the city.

The dialogue committee, in a statement obtained by ArraedLG, said on Saturday that the meeting stressed the withdrawal of all parties of the conflict to establish their intentions and ensure goodwill, and the security departments in the Western region to secure state institutions and facilities, especially banks.

The Committee pointed out that the armed factions in the city of Tripoli expressed their willingness to abide by the outputs of the dialogue and reconciliation committee.

The United Nations mission announced last Tuesday, a ceasefire agreement in the south of Tripoli, and the reopening of Mitiga International Airport.
